Florence Carbray has been coordinating the Doon Pioneer Park Community Association Christmas Miracle Food Hamper Project since 1981.

Since 2009, there have been annual donations of $5,000, and over 100 community volunteers involved in the "Season of Giving". 

 Florence Carbray was a key community volunteer on the Doon Pioneer Park Community Centre KPL Branch Library Project from 1983 - 1989.
